Now that our Massage and Bodywork is available again --
What you need to know about our new procedures for safety and well-being:
We’re grateful to be back in the office offering therapeutic massage and bodywork again! We want to make sure, however, that we do it right. In an effort to keep all of us safe in this time of COVID-19 and also provide the healing care so many of you want and need, we have worked diligently to implement new protocols and procedures in our office. Please be patient with us and with yourself as we all navigate these unfamiliar times together.

Below is a list of what we are doing at Back in Touch to ensure your health and safety, and a list of what we expect from you as our beloved clientele.
At Back in Touch we are:
-sanitizing touched surfaces after use.
-wearing masks at all times in the office.
-washing and sanitizing our hands before we touch you.
-sanitizing our treatment rooms in between use.
-removing unnecessary objects from the waiting rooms.
-screening all bodywork personnel and clients as they enter the premises.
-temporarily discontinuing couples’ massages.
-keeping our appointments temporarily at 30 and 60 minutes only, to allow therapists and clients a period of adjustment to new ways of working.
-scheduling one hour between clients to ensure time for clean-up and reduce overlap between clients.
-providing extra layers of protection between all massage equipment.
At Back in Touch we expect you to:
-wait in your car and call up when you arrive.
-cancel your appointment if you have fever or any symptoms of illness. You will not be charged.
-wear a mask while you are here, even during your massage.
-allow us to take your temperature & ask some screening questions upon entering the office.
-answer our screening questions honestly, and cooperate if asked to leave as a result of the screening.
-use the public hallway bathroom before or after your appointment, if possible.
-follow your therapist’s lead in conducting the entire appointment in the treatment room, including payment and rebooking.
-purchase gift certificates online rather than in our office while we are limited in staff.
We hope all of this is clear and understandable. We will have limited massage appointments as well as front desk staff as we start back up, and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Thank you again to every one of you for your kindness and support during this time — it makes all the difference to our small independent shop!
See you soon,
Carrie Wilkerson, owner,
and all your friends at Back In Touch
