I work with clients who seek healing from codependency and painful relationships, grief & loss, anxiety, disordered eating, traumatic experiences, and substance use. Additionally, I help individuals and couples navigate major life transitions in relationships, career, parenting, chronic illness & cancer, and caring for aging loved ones.
My practice specialty is helping sensitive women recover from the traumatic loss of identity and disconnection from self and body. In a world that says we can have it all, maintaining a grounded relationship with ourselves, personal boundaries, and self-care is imperative. I incorporate mindfulness, creative writing, poetry, and journaling as an avenue for an exploration of the inner life that, in time, leads to reconnection and integration into an embodied, lived experience.
I hold a bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University and a graduate degree from The University of Tennessee in clinical social work. I am certified and experienced in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brainspotting Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing with my doggie, and exploring creative activities.
